The fan pulls in air from the slots provided towards the base and pushes it through the heating coil above.
The hot air travels between the walls of the toaster, which is then pushed through the tiny outlet holes directed towards the bread face.
This pressured hot air helps to provide equally toasted bread on both sides of the toast in under a minute.
