HFNC Oxygen mask

The HFNC Oxygen mask designed to move away from the traditional masks available in order to make the nose piece more stable and comfortable on the face without covering the mouth.
It needed to dispense up to 35 liters of oxygen per minute while keeping the manufacturing cost low.

Approved Concepts

The Pipe is housed in a channel which can adjust the nose pipe height to provide a comfortable experience no matter the nose structure/size

Final design

After a lot of user testing this design was finalized as it provided the most comfortable fit and stability on the nose.

The body was made of silicon which would mold into the shape of the face with a aluminum rod on top which would hold the silicon body as per the contour of the face and provided a very effective grip so that the nose piece would not move out of place.

The pipe clip would also help in keeping the supply pipe in a fixed position so that there are no kinks formed which could rupture the supply pipe.
